has anyone successfully quieted a Jardine RT5 1125r? If I can't quiet this thing down it's going to be for sale. I am getting older and my hearing isn't getting any better! |

I gave up trying with my RT5. It's just loud. I tried a couple of different 'quiet cores'. The result was less than desirable. The bike was still loud, and ran bad. It idled funny and began surging. It runs better without plugging it up. I have the Erik Buell Racing race ECM for the Jardine. |

I had the RT5 on my bike and did not care for the sound. I bought a Supertrapp for about $150 and put it on using the Jardine mid pipe and mount. You can tune the Supertrapp by adding or removing discs to get the sound you like. |
