Well guys I was attacked! The stator and voltage regulator finally caught up to me and ruined my perfect day to ride with some buddies and my girlfriend. We went out and rode up one of the local highways to meet my friend and his girlfriend to go ride and the battery light turned on and off on and off on and off. I get to his house and shut the bike off came back out half hour later and it wouldn't turn over, it jumped fortunate and off we went. We stopped later and got gas and once again it would not turn over so my friend helped me jump it and off to HD we went. The HD tech said it was the stator and voltage regulator, so now I wait for 2 weeks at the max they said. They said it could be 1 week at the soonest but likely be closer to two weeks. Hopefully after this it is all fixed and no problems, Im being honest so far I have not had good luck with HD products, my last bike 09 1200 N had stator problems and electrical problems up the but so I saw this and it was a hell of a deal and love at first sight so I bought it and up until know I have not regretted it. I love my "ginger" and I hope we do not have problems again. |

My stator went at 2,200 miles. I am almost at 11K miles and it seems OK. I think it was a Quality Control issue. |
