Does anyone know of any Harley Dealerships that have any new 2010 models left on the floor for sale. Specifically a new XB9R or 1125R. Would like to trade my Harley Fatboy for one | ||

2010's are long gone, you *may* be able to find a 08 or 09 laying around somewhere if you look hard enough. Before they took it off the website, Buell.com said there was about 25 new bikes left in the country for sale. | ||

XB9R will be tough - 2007 was the last year for them. No 50 degree weather up here, just more cold temps (11 out right now) and snow for half of the next 10 days. This is the first winter in a while I haven't been able to ride, just too much crud on the roads all the time. | ||

I am gonna jump out and pre-ride the get in gear route if anyone is up for it. I will be starting Quick check 94/rt 15/cr 623 intersection Lafayette NJ tomorrow @ noon finishes in Pine Island NY it's about 100 mile loop up through the backroads of hueganot and oakland valley out to eldred and back along the delaware | ||

Yeah, that BBQ looks too crowded for me. I freak out in crowds. Last time I was in a crowd like that, I almost started throwing random punches just to get out of there. Not good.  Due to the weather, I don't think it's a good time for a burrito run either. Maybe next week. | ||

Do me a favor - stop into Laconia Harley Davdison and spit on the floor for me. Those guys are bunch of jerk offs, worst buying experience I've had, and if they don't stop sending me advertising emails, post cards and texts, I'm going to ride there myself and burn the showroom to the floor. Otherwise, HAVE FUN! I'll be in the White Mountains this summer, but will go when the crowds aren't so bad. | ||

I meant to post this before, I get mine done at Powerline Cycles, its right off the Secor Road exit of the Taconic. That said, I haven't had any of mine done in about 3 years now, I probably should get that taken care of. | ||

I think mine is aged as well and I'm okay, for example, headed out through NJ, upstate or CT. But be mindful that here in NYC I get it checked at the bridges, tunnels and many on-ramps. What you can get by with anywhere else won't get you to noon here and it's a "bike on a tilt bed, pick it up next week" deal. I posted pictures in the past of how they are loaded on the flatbeds . . . the official response . . "you don't like it, don't break the law". | ||

Yea I've been a bit worried about it, but last week they had a checkpoint on an onramp, I went through with my XB that has no headlights, no turn signals, no mirrors, race tires, Micron pipe, missing reflectors and a dozen other violations. They just waved me through. Hell if they did stop me, I would probably of been better off sticking a flare in the gas tank and hoping the evidence burns | ||
