Ok here they are. To all the haters - go take a flying leap. If everyone had the same tastes the world would be a pretty boring place. Why'd you buy a Buell in the first place? Cause it was different. Now all of a sudden you dislike anything different. Or not "built" to your specs. Hypocrite. Disliking a style isn't gonna make it go away. (I've hated rap music since 1987 and its still around.) And talkin shit about it just makes you look stupid. Nobody's going to chop your bike. Relax. And before you post anything, ask yourself if you would say it if we (all of us in this forum ) were at a bike meet together. In person. If you wouldn't say it there, dont say it here. If you do anyway you're obviously a chickenshit. How about taking the next road towards adulthood and respecting the craftsmanship and creativity. I will admit - rap music has some pretty creative rhymes that I couldn't have thought of. Pull your head out. To everyone else that dosen't have their head buried deep deep in their ass, here are the pics that i promised:
This tank was handmade with an english wheel
My buddy climbs telephone poles for a living. This is the design in his seat leather
Heres his truck. Notice a theme?
Yes that's the ground you see next to the tranny.
Pretty low. Stay away from speedbumps.
This posts author. My buddy is in CA. right now. And the sun was in my eyes.
If you dont like this pic, then you like a high hard one in the poop shoot.
This bike is actually really comfortable to ride, especially with your legs back on the rear pegs. If you hate it, don't bother telling me, I don't care. |

The funny thing is all of you do custom mods to youjr bikes weather bolt on or paint, adding newer. Swingarms etc. That is all customizing it/personalizing it so you to are guilty what I am thinking of doing will not change the existing frame thus can easily be put back. Please start your own bitch thread and quit hijacking mine! |

Dig it, badass build. I think that the round headlights would flow better but that's minor. Love the hand made tank |

First big bump the rear wheel hits is likely to crack your frame. Not a bike for riding though, so no big deal. |

Your right about the different tank. A major issue was that he'd have to stop for gas more often than everyone else and it got to be a pain on trips like to daytona and sturgis. So he handmade himself a bigger tank for the long rides. Got about 15,000 miles on the build, no cracking yet. |

Those are some ugly pieces of shite. And I am not sorry to say it and I would say the same thing standing next to the builder. Plus, I am probably old enough to be your grandfather, so I think I qualify for the adult part as well. In closing, I fart in your general direction. Shane |

As far as filling up on gas yep get it I get about 120 miles and my buddies get twice that. And for metal fatigue no way look at the way it is built all the original swing arm pieces including the pivot point are still there they made a hoop out of tubing to hard tail it if any thing that tube will flex eventually it may fatigue but easily replaced. And for you guys that are all knowing ya sure are stupid there's guys up here riding so called puddle jumpers, bar hoppers whatever on all day rides comfort is within the individual style is within the individual customizing is within the individual so please stop the pissing match |

>>> that bikes isn't made to be ridden That is correct Owens. That bike was an art project, a poor one from my view, but that is personal taste. It certainly wasn't designed with riding in mind. You can ride a pogo stick around the world if you really want, but that doesn't mean the thing was designed for that purpose. |

How do YOU know why they built the bike? I just love how people are quick to poinnt out the things they dont like. 1125R wasnt made as a touring bike, but people still do it and no one says anything of it. Including you. So go figure, ole double-standard Blake. I dont know the person who built the bike But I do know that you dont know them either. |

Doesn't actually surprise me, consider the bigass ugly welds: Good grief that's an ugly bike that the "builder" ruined an awful lot of fantastic engineering in order to achieve a "look". And, yes I would say that to your face! |

Blake, I find it totally bizarre that you would comment on the reason for building something, when its obvious to everyone that you have no idea what you're talking about. How was it poorly done anyway? Crappy looking welds? Runs in the paint? Maybe there's some duct tape holding something together. Or is it because its not your style, therefore its poor? You know what - its not my style either, and I told him I thought the frame wouldn't handle it. Right below the front of the seat, where the new tubes are welded in halfway down the original tubes, it dosen't look very strong. I WAS WRONG. Dan weighs about 250 and everything has held up perfectly. Apparently Eric designed the frame with more strength than either one of thought. An art project? Really? Where'd you pull that out of? Did Harley originally make the V-Rod to be a girls bike? Or did more women buy it than any of their other bikes because it sat so low? I'm new to this whole "forum" thing, look at my stats, I've got like 50 posts, while you're there, look at MY bike, this stretched one is obviously not my style, but I'm grown up enough to give credit where credit is due. Its nicely executed, and he achieved what he set out to. If this forum is all about people talkin shit about others bikes, then I don't want any part of it. I thought it was for trading info, and learning tips and tricks for my favorite motorcycle. Maybe I was wrong again. |

wow !!!!!dont like like the hit on the girl at all TROUBLER ! As far as the bike goes , looks good , the truck looks better . You could build the bike with an old sportster . Just seems ashame to waist a good BUELL . But isnt that what makes this place and US the best . In the words of another BUELLER , Peace unto You My Brothers |

as i said before: there are other forums that welcome such bikes. there are better places to exhibit such machines. i don't think it is any secret that a majority of members of this forum dislike such builds, and are likely to voice their objections, so don't be surprised..... |
