Ran my bike on a dyno jet at a shop last weekend. Only hit 108 hp at the most in 6 pulls. WT Frank is wrong here? Guy said these bikes are supposed to be in the mid 120 stock. I dont wanna take it to the dealer and wait all summer. Need some things I can check on my own instead |

Different numbers from different dynos is a start. Can you get numbers from other types of bikes (not 1125's)run on that dyno and compare to other dyno numbers? And how many miles on yours? May increase some with more miles. Are your throttle bodies opening all the way? Seems to be a bit of adjustment issue on some. |

+1 Check the TPS, verify that the butterflies are actually opening 100%. |

Go into diagnostic mode by holding mode and toggle on your dash when turning the key on. Tab through till you get to TPS percent, make sure it starts at 2% with no throttle input, and smoothly goes up to 100% as you twist the throttle. If it doesn't, do a tps reset or check your throttle cables for binding. |

I agree with first check the TPS. Mine pulled a wopping 103hp in stock trim and then I found that one of the throttle body clamps was acting a a stop and thus only letting the butterflies open 67%. It will be better next time. |

ok did the tps check and only getting 90% on it. seems like when it hits about 70 to 75% there is a bind. gonna take the air box off to see whats going on or should i to a tps reprogram. |

+1 on the throttle bodies/TPS.. Mine pulled 113 first time out (I was massively disappointed) then I found the TPS only getting to 78%.. Second run was 123 which I was happy with as the bike only had 500 miles on it at the time and was completely stock |

Check under the airbox first, see what is holding it back. If it is opening fully, then do the TPS reset. |

Before you take the bottom tray off, pull up on the breather hose sticking up on the right side. If it's not sticking up 1/2" - 3/4" it is most likely your culprit. Pull on it and see if your throttle gets better. If not, THEN pull the bottom tray. Be very attentive to cable routing when re-installing. Zack |

I'd do the TPS check/reset first as it requires no removal of any parts and only takes 5 mins... That might be all that's needed.. THEN I'd take the airbox top and airfilter off, check the breather hose (as mentioned) - that was my culprit. and take a look at the TBs to see if they are both opening at the same rate and to the maximum possible (damn near verticle) |

And make sure that when taking off the lower part of the airbox to DISCONNECT the T clip part of the fuel line from the airbox. It's easy to skip over and it will break quite easily. |

Get rid of the noid too, if you haven't already. Mine was causing the throttle to bind up a bit when the bike was warm. |

Lemme guess you broke it in according to the manual word for word. |

My (bone stock) CR, the day I put the 152 flash in it, WITH the noid still installed...pulled 143/82 hp/tq. The correction factor they use can also affect the number. I got three different numbers for the SAME pull, depending on factor (SAE, uncorrected, or STD). Not a big difference...but it's there. |
