The above post description of a US Federal Marshal was purely ficticious.Any resemblence to a US Federal Marshal living or dead is PURELY COINCIDENTAL! |

Well... You gotta factor in that I cheat like I invented the concept. It is not how long it takes to make the catch... it is the fact that the catch WILL be made... after 214 years (being the oldest federal agency) what we lack in assets... we make up for it with determination! We have done so much with so little for so long... we can accomplish practically anything with almost nothing! ...and do so on a regular basis... don't judge the book by the cover. |

Paul... No I have not. The one I really want is the handy lift... a company in Iowa... it will be close to $1000.00 with shipping... and shipping will be in the $200.00+ range. I may look at the one at Gail's... just for grins... but with all the expenses of getting into the house... the money is not available. It would have been handy today. As I was waiting for the pipes to stop dripping so I had dry junctions to work on (I had doing some cpcv plumbing repairs) I put the yellow lower body work I got off ebay on the XB. It would have been nice to not have to stand on my head to accomplish the task! Thanks for the info! If I have my Kansas area right... Overland Park. To me... that area is as confusing as L.A. County for figuring which where is what city!!! Back to plumbing... (this is the part about home ownership I HATE!!!!!) |

FFINALLY! got my computer back and running after a tailspin of breakdowns. Rode home from the old ARMCO Plant on Winner Rd to home at Metro North at 34deg the other night. FirstGear jacket and pants and decent gloves made it bearable. Been too broke to pay attention and did not have enough gas in the van to make it to work, rode the bike and it were damn brisk for sure. Went out today and scouted some deer hunting ground, hunt next Saturday and get the freezer filled up for winter I hope. You guys be safe, I will be out around town if the weather is halfway decent for riding this next week. |

Paul Overland Park..... Remember next week is Monthly meeting at W.J. McBrides 119th & Medcalf OP Wednesday night @ 7pm I will not be able to make this months meetings, so one of the others will have to sit in for me. Tripper I got out to visit Mike Harper today, the shop was closed, but Mike pulled in behind me and spent at least an hour showing me the shop and his huge motorcycle collection. He must have 200 vintage bikes at least. He is a true motorcycle enthusiast. He had a couple of newer Guzzi's that would look good in my garage. Jeff |

Definitely off the beaten path Tripper... The Guzzi Lemans & Scuza's are nice, but I just can't take my eye off those Falco SL1000's I see on the net. Well at least Harper now has some what of a hard surface instead of 1 mile of gravel driveway, like when you visited. |

What a BRAG meeting!!! A good time was had by all! It was such a treat to pull into the parking lot and see that many Buells this time of year. About a dozen were present at the meeting... even the recluse Frankster made an appearance (though he looked pale and anemic, and hardly had the strength to hold his head up. So Frankster... How's things going with that lady you have been hiding with???). Oh... there were a dozen attendees... only Keith and I rode... BUT... most everyone was wearing Buell attire!!! The Prez did a great job of mediating the meeting... he only lost control a couple of times... there was a member who kept interjecting comments in an attempt to get laughter... I am not sure if they were laughing with him or at him. It was almost shameful!!! Some guy from Independence riding a Yellow XB9S... I forget his name!!! Jeff was there... channeled through Bill... it was really erie when Jeff's voice came out of Bill! I guess John Edwards had something to do with this... or maybe our Prez has multiple personality disorder... and there was no channeling... TRUST ME... I know about multiple personality disorders... we have much experience with such a thing!!! And Sam... Hubba-hubba!!! NO...NOT SAM... his guest... to sum it up in one word... Holy sh*t hot damn WOW!!! Once again Sam was my hero... I wanted to be Sam soooooooo much last night!!! (Well, I always want to be Sam... except for the part that he does not have a running bike...) As for the fashion statement of the night (other than Sam's guest... once again hubba-hubba) Fuscat was the talk of the meeting... Fuscat was wearing a basic black hooded sweatshirt with a big really cool oval Buell patch on the front... his wardrobe was provided by Dave of Iowa... everyone was envious! For the worst dressed... Sam came in first (no he was not wearing a dress... but I would not put it past him)... NOT ONE BUELL related garment... I wonder if it had to do with him having a guest... did I describe her... hubba-hubba! We all suspect Sam of wearing Powerpuff Girls underwear... but that is another story... and what happens between two consenting adults is their business, and everyone should just keep out of it (by the way... Sam call me and give me all the gory details!!!) Guys... in a separate posting I will fill you in with what Sam tells me! A few BRAG shirts were sold... and the Prez collected the funds. The rumors of Sam embezzling any dues funds is totally unfounded! It just seems funny to many people that he has not yet opened a bank account for the Mob... (not that any bank would hesitate to open a bank account for a group called the KC Mob!!!) ...plus the fact that Sam has a minimum wage job... and as of last count... has about $9,000.00 minimum in engine work to his XB12NR... I am sure he has just been very good working the stock market!!! Anyway... that is the minutes of last nights meeting... So Jeff... how was that for covering for you??? |

Dennis.... That was as good as it gets!! I laughed so hard I'm still crying. Sorry I missed the costume contest, I must have missed that idea last meeting? As a new club we are doing great with the membership, we the officers need to meet so we can implement everyones good ideas and involvement. Dennis .... Did my voice really come out of Bill? thanks for taking notes!! Jeff |
