Is it strictly for volume reduction, or is it to prevent "sloshing" as well? |

I've heard of racers using a sponge sort of thing in tanks to help with sloshing, might be this? I dont know |

The sponge is fuel cell foam, and that's exactly what it's for. It's an open cell foam that doesn't take up much space, but keeps the liquids from sloshing around. I use the stuff in my overflow bottles for both coolant and fuel breather. |
