Tried the search. I remember someone posting up about having a DIY switch that turns the headlights on/off should you wish too. I would like to know which wire i need to splice, just being lazy really. and any pics of your mod would be nice to see too. Thanks |

The ground wire for the headlamp assembly would be a good place to splice. |

Under the instrument cluster, in that mess of wires that feeds the front end, look for the connector piece that has 5 wires coming out of it. That should be the headlamp assembly subharness. The wires will be colored grey/black, white, blue, red/black, and solid black. On that connector pin set, #3 - the blue wire, powers the low beams. The low beams and marker lamps share a common black ground that runs to position 5 on the connector. (Message edited by torquaholic on May 25, 2011) |

Thanks, yep looked it up in my manual last night, your spot on, everybody should have the workshop manual, it's excellent. |
