I just installed a VDO tach and am trying to get some ballpark reference points. Speed versus rpm in a particular gear, I'm running stock tires fwiw. If you can help me that would be great, I'm not getting a good feeling from this tach, l could be confused coming from a v twin. |

Twin tach will not work on a single without massive modifications. That Trail Tech I got sure works nice though. EZ |

EZ, you are so right, I'm sending VDO back because it's not working properly. it is listed as a 1 cylinder or 2 cylinder use, however the 1 cylinder is supposed to be a 2 stroke, I found this out after I ordered it the description was a little ambiguous on the website.. I should have listened to you from the start I ordered a TTO. Note to self pay attention to what E Z is telling me. Thanks again! |

Not to hijack the thread but Ez I also purchased the TTO. What settings did you use mine is all over the place sometimes close to actual idle then off by around 300 RPM ??? I am currently set to ppr 1.0 lo and slo. |

set to 0.5 and fast, and cut out any excess wire so it is not reading its own echo as well. Then just twist together and tape up - works great for the every day. EZ |
