2002 X1 Lightning for sale I recently obtained a 2002 1200 X1 Lightning in a trade for snowmobiles. (I figured the bike would be easier to sell). It is "Like New" and has only 2200 miles on it. Extras include White Bros. pipe, performance chip and polished pulley. Stock pipe & chip are also with it as well as the owners manual. I know book value is over $8,000 however I hope to get $6,500. Will consider trade for pontoon boat or quad. Bike is yellow and I can send pics if you want. Call (515)964 2309 or (515)669 8443 Roger |

I agree on the book value. It doesn`t mean much but its a good reference point. I hope my price of $6,500 is obtainable. After pricing other similar bikes I think I`m in the ballpark. |

PRICE REDUCED '98 Buell S1W White Lightning (the Thong), Molten Orange over black, Twintail, 11K miles, K&N, new V&H, polished exhaust, new Pro Series wires, original owner's manual, Buell tank bag, new K-D shock tool. runs good, looks good, BattleTrax trophy winner (one Top Time, one 2nd place) in two outings. has minor flyscreen and gauge bezel damage from previous owner's garage wall tipover, and a few bubbles under the "Buell" on the left side of the tank. not a show bike, probably 7 or 8 out of 10, but a good runner and gets the looks and the comments -- it is quite the Buell experience. don't wanna sell it, but want to lighten my debt load. see pix here. the wheels in the pix stay with me (they're off of the BLURR), and the original Marchesinis (which are now hand-polished) will go back on the bike. clean and clear title. $4999.00 will deliver pretty much anywhere for a mutually agreeable fee. Could someone tell me from a Buell enthusiasts point of view, what is good or bad about my 2002 X1 Lightning. I know nothing about Buells. |

Bad: It shakes like a jackhammer. Good: It makes you grin like an idiot. Bad: It's no S1 Lightning. |

The X1 is the tube frame pure performance package... upside down front forks, fuel injection, sticky rubber, really hot cams. And chin fairing (right?) Downside? Less comfortable the M2 / S2 / S3, less low end power. As sport oriented bikes go, it's still pretty practical... |
