Erik Buell Racing have done well. On 5,6,7 arrived now, as promised from me, the BMW S 1000 RR. Harald got one of these bikes from the factory and this is a different world. BMW suffered last year because ABS and TC was unusable. With the last software updates now they have a stock ECM based good working Race ABS with Traction- and Wheeliecontrol for relative small money. So the reality now is that a S 1000 RR with some software updates can go with the ProTeams. And forget to pray for rain, a rider who have wet trackexperience and the right map (tire and track adopted) will be very hard to beat. That not any BMW rider is willing to trust this systems we just learned at Assen were we got fastest lap in the rain with the Erik Buell Racing against the BMW factory. (-: Even if BMW still have Problems in WSBK to go continuely on the podium, itīs just a question of time and rider when the S1000RR win the first AMA SBK race. |
