Local bike night. People couldn't get enough of the 1125, like it was the only bike there! It was sweet Follow the link! http://ocmoto.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=4qjt4co4pnmn 3idsjr8gtg1702&topic=41109.msg4502527#msg4502527 |

I dont go to many bike nights, but I was at Cycle Gear the other day browsing and when leaving two bikes were leaving, and then 3 pulled in. All stopped to check the R out. Its a cool bike, fairly rare, people dont see them often up-close so they are often interested |

I stopped for gas last summer with 2 other Buell owners. Two youngsters on Japanese sport bikes pulled up: Are those Buells? I've seen those in magazines... What is that? (pointing to pod) Man, is that cool! |

Met them on a meetup on Ramstein AFB, least the president of them came out. Might look into them more. (I'm just not interested in joining and being on the low rung of a group. I've been riding to long for that game. (probably have more miles on both my bikes than most of them have in their entire lifetime.)) |

I was more thinking they run bike nights at the club house or might know where one is. I am not much of a club guy myself so I understand you there. However there is probably something the Germans are doing they might have knowledge about |

Wish I knew where the bike nights were here in Kaiserslaturn Germany You're about 3 hours away from the German Charter of my club.. We're having a party with camping on the 28th Near to Elmpt/Dusseldorf/Monchengladbach. There are a few German clubs coming. I'll be riding over, you'd be very welcome if you fancied a night under canvas and meeting some German/UK bike clubs? http://www.savages-viator-mc.co.uk/home.html |

Looks like a good time and a lot of fun. I need to do a bike night in the DFW area when I get my bike back to proper riding condition. By the way, was I the only one that noticed some really good photobombs? |

I hate being old sometimes. Had to lookup photobombs... Leave it to a Texan to teach me something - Anybody know how much a pound of Bluebonnet seeds cost? I want to see if they'll grow here in Colorado. Sorry for the mini-hijack.

I am loving the attention too. Whenever I go to an event I get the same looks. It is cool to see other sport riders embracing the Buell. |

Took my 1125 into a metric shop for a safety inspection. When it took too long I walked back into the service area. One of the techs was holding "school call" on all the advanced technology in the Buell. When I walked through the door I heard "Man, that is a cool bike....too bad Harley did what they did to Buell." In the Wash DC metro area, there are LOTS of bikers with vests. There are also lots of Busa clubs, etc. I also ran across a second three patch police bike club yesterday, in town for a police memorial service. Thought I was in the middle of a bunch of outlaw bikers! (Message edited by black on May 15, 2011) |

Yup, between the what is that questions about the 1125r and the what year is that questions about my new bonneville, if I don't wanna talk to strangers at the gas station I gotta go to the furthest away from the building gas pumps. Younger riders seem most interested in the Buell, and anyone and everyone seems to double take at the Triumph. Maybe I need to get the most boring hd I can find when I wanna be left alone. |

I went to the Texas Motor Speedway to watch a friend of mine race a stock car yesterday. I was able to ride into the inside of the track. I parked close by where I could see it. I caught some people taking pictures of my 1125R. |

I often get people either waving hysterically at me from inside their car or people yelling out their window "That thing is F**kin sick!" or "Is that a Buell" or "What is that?" I cant get enough |

Last GTG i rolled to in VEGAS had a pleasant Surprise..... a White 2010 R. I was shocked, i couldn;t believe there was another R within 100 miles and for it to be white was even more rare... then the next day i was in contact with a guy that just moved to Nellis AFB and he also had a WHITE 2010 R. I only knew of one other R in the area which is owned by an employee at the north vegas Cyclegear.. ITs fun to see the attention these bikes get... ALWAYS have people asking about the HUGE front brake, and whether or not it pulls to the right lol. Nice pics, GTG are fun as long as the idiots stay away.. |
