Ava, Not sure why it won't load for you. Worst case, try a cut and past onto youtube. It is a great route; but, there is so much more than just The Dragon. Danny, Yes, he is very smooth. Rings the neck out of that 650. He is predictable and fun to chase. The road surface is generally, clean. Locals could comment more to the conditions. I ride the area just twice a year. |

Reep, Bet you could just peg the throttle all the way through the turns. I can't take credit for the music...rider in front did the editing. I just filmed the ride and tried to keep 137 hp at his exhaust tips. "...never leave your wingman!" |

Nuke, Rte 28, heading away from Deals Gap, towards Cycle Crazy was an absolute blast. Road surface not quite as nice; but, no tourist traffic either. |

Terp_bueller - It is a nice thing then you know the guy well enough that the trust is there for 'close up' riding. |

Deals Gap, Townsend, TN 37882, USA cut and paste the above into google maps it's hwy 129 in the south end of TN a great destination. I try to get down once or twice a year like Apr and Oct - it's still warm there and it extends our northern ride season nicely and the traffic is light |

EVC, If you ever consider the ride down to Great Smoky Mountains, try to find a group ride. I think Dragonslayer does a yearly ride, in the area. There are so many great routes, its hard to plan your trip unless you have someone knowledgeable to the area. Good Luck. Let me know how I can help. |

Nobody in the history of the universe has ever been startled or surprised in any way by a KLR-250 as a result of turning the throttle. It was great fun... never went over the speed limit, but I don't think I ever went under it either. Just relaxed carving from from corner to corner. It's a great road for a thumper. |
