So read the method posted but no matter what I do it doesn't seem to work. Still shows 67%. Anything else maybe causing this that I should be checking? At wrk right now so can't rip her open till tomorrow... maybe.

Or am I just a ? : (

Check for throttle linkage binding. Do the butterflies open completely?

Make sure when you do it you have the thumb switch set to ON. If the key is on but the switch is set to off it will not read 100%

I just did the TPS reset and followed the instructions given in an earlier post. When I turned the key of the fuell pump cycled as it does when I turn the key on. Is that telling me I did it correctly and it was reset?

Kinder -
Pull your airboxes, both outer and inner.
Look at the floor of the airbox, see the vent line sticking up on the right side?
Pull on it so it sticks up 1/2-3/4".

Now see how much TPS you get.

if the throttle bodies have ever been removed the clamps can also interfer with 100% open butterflys and may cause low TPS reading

Have you denoided? The noid was resulting in inconsistent throttle movement, and therefore low TPS readings, on my '08. Removing it fixed the problem and made the throttle turn noticeably easier too.

The breather tube will bind the linkage if it is not in the right location.

Ripped her open... Not breather tube. Bastards at HD had the throttle body clamps set right under the linkage spring! I'll post a pic later.

It's sorted now. 2-100%.

Thanks to all for the tips. Made it easier to know what to look for. : )

On to trying the spark plug swap with no rotation thing now.

Here's the pic. Basically the bolt on the top clamp acted as a stop for the linkages.
