Trojan I think Court still has sore spots from HDS legal after the Ulyssses teaser pics LOL Most of the folks dont get the fact badweb etc is used for teasers by Buell Erik Buell Racing etc its part of the fun for us and inexpensive advertisment for the companies. Every magazine does it check out every thing from Car & driver to Popular Mechanics spy shots. Business planning is just that planning. Any plan be it business or combat ever survives the first day intact it changes. The amount ot work that goes into production planning and production line supply is huge. Its harder to build 100 bikes than a 1000. |

Matt, >>> The 1190 isn't ground breaking in terms of new technology or anything that will 'change motorcycling forever'. He said Erik would change motorcycling in the next three years. Not sure where your quote is derived or why you imagine that to change motorcycling requires ground breaking new technology. What Court stated is accurate; count on it. An American Superbike competing on the world stage is a huge change in motorcycling. A new American motorcycle manufacturer creating and selling world class superbikes is a huge change in motorcycling. I have no idea what you are getting at wrt Norton in the '70's. There's a LOT more to the sporting motor bike market than superficial appearance and component technology. For example, BMW has surely changed motorcycling with their new Superbike. Wow looks like Ken has a bug up his ARSE with what Rocco said. So what if he doesn't havea buell anymore.... either do I. This is a forum and its where opinions are expressed. Why don't you put your leather jacket on because it seems your skin is thin. |

The 1190RS will not debut at Infineon. There are currently a couple hurdles needing to be cleared. One would make you laugh. One would make you cry. Elves, and there have been some amazing additions to the Elf population this week, are indeed working diligently. These are exciting times we live in. |

Just noticed on the AMA pro racing web site, that another 1190 twin will be racing in it's 1st AMA Superbike race at Mid-Ohio in July . Chris Fillmore is on the entry list, and is racing a KTM RC8R for HMC, I believe the team is owned by Mitch Hanson . Hanson owned the KTM SuperMoto team that Fillmore use to race for, and Fillmore also raced a KTM 990 Superduke for Hanson's team in a Moto ST race at Road America in 2008. This makes since, because Mid-Ohio is the home of a racing school, where they use KTM's only, and Fillmore raced the KTM RC8R in club races last year, when he was not racing in the AMA. |

After about 50 laps at Road America, I'd have to agree with Geoff May, "This thing is too good to be a street bike." |

I'm not allowed to say anything about any secret testing that may or may not have occurred yesterday and I can't confirm any comments made about the bikes performance. The LA fog clouds my memory. |

LOL, nice I'd have to agree with Geoff May, "This thing is too good to be a street bike." Thats easy for Geoff to say since he doesnt ride on the street anymore. Im going to have to dissagree. |

One small comment that no one seems to have noticed in this thread...the bike is not a Buell 1190RS, it is an E.B.R. 1190RS. |
