My four year old loves bikes. He seems most interested in "racebikes," as he calls sportbikes, but tells me my "real bike" (as opposed to my bicycle) is pretty awesome. He's been afraid to even sit on my S1 due to the vibration at idle and has been intimidated by the sound, but recently showed interest in going for a ride. So far we've only gone around the block at 15mph (and will continue to do so until he gets a lot bigger), but I was surprised at how composed and relaxed he was. It's nice to see. I plan on getting him off training wheels soon and getting him on his own "real bike." I figure if this loud-ass paint shaker is no longer intimidating, he should be good to go. |

Mine were eager to go. I put them on the Road King 1st with the qualifier that when they could reach the pegs and and put pressure on them they could go on the Buells. |

How nice! Little guys learn fast! Enjoy EVERY minute with your kids. You are going to blink an eye and they will be moving out of your house as men. |

That's great guys. My wife is just in her first trimester and I'm already excited take my kids on rides. I grew up sitting and dreaming on my dad's bikes. He drilled higher holes in the frame of his cb450 and made pegs for me out of bolts and fuel line. I cherish those days. |

Do it often and enjoy every last moment. The kids just soak it up and it builds life long memories! Started mine at 4 sitting on the tank of a Can Am, graduated to a yamaha 80 and progressed forward. He did some serious racing but the job got in the way and he stopped racing. Just took a wonderful mothers day ride with him yesterday on the buells. Dang it brings back some fun memories.
