Jeff... Actually... by the time you add the freight charges for shipping a handylift... Gail's isn't that far off. Freight for 300 pounds and non-commercial delivery charges add a bunch to shipping! The thing really is... do I want to bite the bullet and get a lift??? |

OK... I am fired up... and on a rant. First of all... everyone I asked about what they were handing out tonight for Halloween said they would not be home... or they were handing out little dinky pieces of candy. FIRST OF ALL... I AM NOT driving all the way across town for a dinky little piece of candy... but I am telling you all... I WILL DRIVE that distance with a bunch of eggs!!! So get some big candy bars and for once think about me!!! Secondly... we hire a few off duty cops to help when we are short handed. I asked the one I was working with today, what he was handing out... or would I need to buy another ½ dozen eggs for his house! His response... "I have to work tonight." Once again yet another person who is not thinking about me! Then he adds he will not be working patrol... he will be working a sobriety check point. NOW THAT REALLY SET ME OFF!!! God... can you believe it... a sobriety check point on Halloween.... what a frigging waste of tax payer dollars! Who thinks of this sh*t!!! Just how many arrests do they think they can make on Halloween!!! I can see it now... Officer, "I need you to stop for a minute... we are conducting a sobriety check point and by law you must cooperate." Citizen, "Sure mister... er... I mean officer, what do you need me to do?" Officer, "What is your name?" Citizen, "It is Timmy" Officer, "OK Timmy... take off your mask... put down your sack of candy... and when I bend down... I want you to breath into my face so I can check your breath for the odor of alcohol." Timmy, "Shouldn't my mom or dad be called... don't I have rights?" Officer, "Now listen Timmy... and listen good. We have ways of dealing with people like you. Step over to the other officer. I have reason to believe that peppermint smell on and about your person is Schnapps! THIS JUST ENRAGES ME... how many drunk kids are they going to find... and if they do find one.... like there is going to be some 7 year old in a Power Rangers costume driving a car!!! What the hell is wrong with the cops!!!!! And beyond that... Does anyone know where I can get about 30 dozen eggs that will fit in my paintball gun??? |

Jeez Dennis! You can come over to my house for candy! Always buy all kinds of candy for the kids but for some reason only a couple brave souls have the guts to come up and knock on the door! Keith p.s. the ones that actually have the guts to knock, usually make out like bandits! |

Dennis, You should have come to my house, bought about $30 in candy and didn't see a single costume. Now I have to take all this candy to work and let someone else loose hp. In the last 7 years I can count the amount of Trick-or-Treaters I have had on my fingers. I don't even want to know how much money I have wasted in candy. Ben |

Keef... Wait just a minute... it is not quite there... as it is a Buell... it is not official until something starts leaking... something breaks... or something falls off of it while riding!!! Then the project is finished!!! ...and the bike is properly christened as your Buell!!! Frankster... Earth to Frankster... earth to Frankster... come in please! Me and my partner drove past Central today and I told him I needed to stop and check up on you... being a newby, he was hesitant to deviate from our "mission" and I was afraid he might wreck the van if I slapped him up side the head! It's the thought that counts!!! |

Dennis, That may be true if it was a 'new' Buell but mine was well seasoned before my restoration so I'm going to say that it is mostly exempt from the breakage or falling of part thing.....

Ok everybody, I need a little help here. It is "Vacation put in time" at work and I was wondering if anybody knew of any dates for next year that will be worth taking off for. I have three weeks to assign, 2 full weeks and one week of days. I have three day weekends every other weekend so most trackdays/weekend events can be covered by that. What I am looking for is that all out boobie baring week long event. Travel time is a plus in this. If anybody wants to set up a ride week for several riders or something of that nature let me know. I have to check into the date of the Backyard Nationals, but I do plan on making that a long weekend this time(you listening Keith?)lol. Also a Arkansas trip would be an extended one, nice to have that during the week so costs would be down. If anyone has any ideas please let me know, DaveS if you are trolling let me know of any Battle-Trax that you have dates for yet or any big Buell events that you may be privilege to already. I just don't want to write down random dates again this year. although it is coming out good for the holidays, I get off the 13th of Dec. and show up for one day till Jan. 3rd. So I will have killer time there, but unless Dave can get me some snow tires it wont be any 2 wheeled fun. Anyway, just throwing this out there. Keef, Looks great! Now I guess your "burnouts" wont be limited to just grassy knolls anymore. Dennis, Yeah thanks dude, I just had to help the little old lady next door clean up all those eggs. At first I thought she was joking but there was egg all over her front porch. I guess I'll have to ship one of these 2 buckets of tooth rot to you before your aim improves. Ben

Ben... Hey... what can I say... my fed LE job comes with many traditions... how many times have you heard of federal agents kicking in the door to the wrong house... like one street over... across the street ...or next door to the target house... I come by my errors honestly... being federally trained... assure your neighbor she will be visited by "Men in Black" and given a get-out-of-jail free card for the mistake... however... your other neighbors may have some worries next year... I might not get it right then either. Now I have some questions for you... first your rights... f**k it... you ain't got no rights... what do you know about Keef and a grassy knoll... we are still working on the Kennedy assassination... "Vee haf vays of making you talk!" "Trust me... I am from the government and I am here to help you!!!" |

Ben, I will have the full Waterloo BRAG schedule including BattleTrax done next week. I can tell you the last weekend in April is the Buell Bash/BattleTrax weekend. Last Sunday of June in the PDC ride. And, I hear voices telling me you might want to keep some time around the 8th of June or so free for a trip to WI. Probably be either before or after the AMA double header at Road America. It could include a track day and BattleTrax. But what do I know. Ride to the edge! Dave Iowa HD/Buell (Buell Cycle Center) |
