I have PR2 on the back of my 1125, i need to replace the front tire, right now i have an oem pirelli on the front, and I'm mainly using the bike for commuting, with some occasional canyon runs. I remember some people run pilot road 2's on the back, and pilot power's on the front. trying to decide between Pilot power 2ct, pilot power, or pilot road 2 on the front. i noticed that motorcycle superstore just has the pilot power 2ct in a 120/70-17, whereas the oem is 120/70ZR-17. any opinions from people that have run PR2's or pilot power's? |

I have run both on the front and like the 2CT much more. Inspires great confidence even after worn to the carcass. |

Im lovin the PR3s. It was finally warm enough to grind some corners and I am very impressed. I think I found my new favorite tires. |

rpm4x4, Have u run the pilot power 2ct's? what are u comparing the pilot road 3's too? mountainstorm, do u mean u have run a pr2 on the back and a pilot power 2ct on the front? if so, the guy at cycle gear was telling me that i can't mix the two because they are different compounds. I said I am aware that they are different compounds. He said that if i put the grippy 2ct up front that the rear would wash out an i would low side. I said so If i put a pr2 up front the front will wash out and I will still low side, and that's better? |

Ive run 4 sets of 2cts between my 2 Buells and decided to give the PR3 a try. I was averaging about 7k out of the 2cts (the last 1k is usually pushing it) and I was hoping the PR3s would get me far enough to run my whole season of riding. I average just over 10K a year. I hate changing mid season. I would rather just have a fresh set every spring if thats possible. |

I thought I said it in this thread but I must have said it somewhere else but I cant tell the difference in handling between the 2cts and the PR3s. I actually feel like the PR3s are better but that could be just because they are new. |
