I have read here before that it is easier to remove the rear swingarm and mounting block as a unit. Just looking at it I think it might be easier to just remove the swingarm while leaving the block attached to the engine....what do those with experience say? Also, does anyone know the size of the allen wrench needed to remove the bolts holding the swingarm to the mounting block? |

On an x1 it is easier to just remove the swingarm since the right isolator comes out easier. |

Thanks Hootowl; that should make life easier. Looks like a 1/2 inch allen wrench is what I need also. |

If you take off the lower front and rear uniplanar engine mounts, the left side isolator will drop out fairly easily too. have the frame suspended or otherwise supported prior to removing the isolators. |
