Red XB12R Firebolt complete with Datatool System 3. Only 600 miles. Will be part-ex'd for another bike by 31/10/03 so any sensible offers accepted. The only snag is that I live in Britain. |

Leeaw... what'd you get for it, if you don't mind me asking? How did it compare to the trade in value quoted when you got your 9? (feel free to tell me it's none of my bidness)...

'98 Buell S1W White Lightning (the Thong), Molten Orange over black, Twintail, 11K miles, K&N, new V&H, polished exhaust, new Pro Series wires, original owner's manual, Buell tank bag, new K-D shock tool. runs good, looks good, BattleTrax trophy winner (one Top Time, one 2nd place) in two outings. has minor flyscreen and gauge bezel damage from previous owner's garage wall tipover, and a few bubbles under the "Buell" on the left side of the tank. not a show bike, probably 7 or 8 out of 10, but a good runner and gets the looks and the comments -- it is quite the Buell experience. don't wanna sell it, but want to lighten my debt load. see pix here. the wheels in the pix stay with me (they're off of the BLURR), and the original Marchesinis (which are now hand-polished) will go back on the bike. clean and clear title. $5299.00 will deliver pretty much anywhere for a mutually agreeable fee. Reep, I ended up with $3,700 with 6 bids. I would have been happy with less, otherwise I would have been holding it all winter. |

"The owner is aware that this bike is an investment and is appreciating in value. " Investment implies financial considerations, any data to support the "appreciating in value" aspect? I'm thinking the appreciation is less financial and more subliminal and personal in application. The value of my S2 is appreciating more than the M2 is at the moment, I wonder what the chance is that I could snag $5grand for it. Probably nill but still looking. Ping me if anyone's interested, 2000 M2, Ventura rack and bag, Immobiliser pager alarm system, X1 bendy turn signals, aux. lights on a relay switch, whatnot, a little over 23,000 miles, ready to ride, $5K. Hurry, I may change my mind. |

Hi Court & Ferris, yes it's me and yes I'm considering selling the S2. Thanks for the kind words regarding the condition, I'm verry meticulas. After having a baby last week, I'm havin a hard time justifying a S2, race S1, and a Yamaha WR to my wife when she's drivin a beater. I'm not sure if I can go through with it cause man I love this bike and it represents me. I hope to ride with you guys again one day, sorry I missed you Ferris at SPLASH, this is the first one I missed but my shattered forearm could'nt do it. Thanks, Stuart Wells, manager of Deeley's House of Buell. |
