Hello Chillimo, I did not ride or meet you at the broadcast, but more the merrier, none the less.... Stay tuned here.... most but not all group rides get posted here We do meet every (usually) every 1st Thursday of the month at Illinois H-D in Berwyn... Not required to join the WCC to ride, but it is a painless membership and our small group does have Buellers from all over... |

Anybody up for a ride Sunday morning? I thought we could do the traditional morning ride to Starved Rock. It is supposed to be sunny. Any takers? Tim II |

I just assumed nobody wanted to ride with me. Was it something I said! All kidding aside, the weather was iffy so I did 30 miles on my bicycle close to home. Better for my waistline anyway! |

1). I'm in for slimey crud run as well given the weather is nice. Let's plan for the standard Sunday May 1st 8:15am meet up at Belvedere Tool Plaza. 2). Thanks to Lastcyclone's post two above I road to Autobahn CC at 11am on Saturday after my sons 815am soccer game. I paid $100 and kicked the crap out of my Uly from 1pm to 7pm at the sportbiketracktime track day event! Great fun! I do need more horsepower as I was getting slowed up in the corners by select timid crotch rocket riders who could always outrun me in the straightaways. Then there were the other guys who were simply better and faster than me! I need either an Erik Buell Racing AX-11 (would be nice for this to show up soon, hopefully 1190 powered) or a Ducati Multistrada 1200S. More power Scotty! Glad motorcycle season is back! Marc |

I am in for Slimy crud. Mark - What is your definition of nice weather? Using "nice" weather as a basis would have negated the past three runs. We need a better definition of acceptable weather. Perhaps "Less Torrential" or "only near bone chilling". As always, I look forward to meeting you for the ride. Tim II |

The Slimey Crud was a great time as usual. We had some adventures and misadventures along the way. As always, Marc was the route master extraordinaire. Thank-you Mark for your great routes and leading the expedition. It was a 580 mile long day in the saddle. I made it home just as the rain was starting. Marc, Dan & Harold were hitting the corners hard. Contrary to Marc's earlier post about a little wind, it was brutal. I know it knocked the wind (so to speak) out of my cornering sail, plus it was cold, my new helmet felt odd, my boots seemed a little tight and my ears hurt from the buds. Is this a sufficient number of excuses? By the way guy's, when waiting for me to show up at the next turn, have the decency to not remove your helmets. I might be slow, but do you have to rub it in ???? I am 105 years old by the way. Tim II |

OH, Tim II... I could not hear that is why I had to remove my helmet(not because of the wait time.............................................. .......................................HAHA). Much easier than working my way into my suit. I need to go back to my mp3 player instead of my iPod. I have much respect for my elders.. -Harold |

Harold, The nice thing about being my age is it is perfectly acceptable for me to get p*ssed off if you do not respect this elder and also mad when you call me an elder! Riding gets very complicated at my age. It was a fun day riding with you though. Tim II |

The meeting was short and sweet. Me, Steve, Mark, Speedy, Tim and I forgot the new guy's name caught up on the Crud Run, the Craftsman Show and Speedy's race schedule. BTW, Speedy took a couple of second places and third places in Kansas. The only bad part about the meeting was it started pouring and Tim rode his bike. See you guys next month. |

Fellow WCC'rs, Thanks Frank for the meeting run down and the details of Speedy's successes. I should be able to make next month's meeting and if all goes well, Kurt should be there as well. He has been transferred from over the road to local intermodal deliveries so he will be home each night and on weekends. I see some riding time in the very near future. Ride well, Keith K |
