Just had a crash and broke the frame near the steering stem. Fork is bend. Front wheel is bent and the left pod broke off. Havent talked to insurance yet. I wonder what the sentence will be?! I'm ok but broke my foot. |

Depends on your insurance really. I just saw an 1125 R that was crash damaged, new swing arm, most body panels replaced, radiators, a new IC, and the cases had to be split because of a damaged shift drum. Total was around $6000 parts and labor. Insurance company paid it. |

Frame through harley is $1800, forks are $1k, wheel is $300 plus some labor to install, i'm assuming there are other parts that are damaged. my bro wrecked my bike, insurance would have totaled, but I got the parts and fixed it my self. It was $3k in parts, I had to change the frame, everything on the top, ic, bars, mc's, controls, all new plastics. I had a blast fixing it, and now I know the 1125 really well. If u do fix it, call ebr, they might be able to help get u some parts |

Good luck! Most insurance companies seem to total a bike especially if any frame damage. I think it's more of a liability issue than the total repair cost. Hopefully you get a good adjuster, don't hesitate to fight them a little! Best of luck!! |

TALK to your adjuster. He might total it if you make a decent salvage offer. You will need a new frame and pices but you might end up with a good track bike AND an insurance pay out. |
