Congrats, Tim! That's a beautiful bike. Let me know if you stumble across any Molten Orange S1's now that you don't have room. |

no Tim, you did not understand. my friend was going to pay the costs of the check up at the dealer. the PO asked me $200 just to drive the bike there. this is trying to rip off people to me. very unfair in my opinion. |

Wow, take some more shots of that bike and post. The S1 was a great looking Buell motorcycle. |

Tim: I looked at your "new" S1 long and hard. Decided I probably wouln't enjoy it because of all the polished this and that. Rode my 1999 in the rain tonight. Was supposed to start after 1am. Oh well. Buy yourself some S100 cleaner at your local HD dealer. Great stuff. |

rode the blast i just picked up, to work in the rain wednesday, and one of the 1125s to work in the rain thursday. its just a bike. its going to get dirty. i can clean it. but yes it will be more a nice day bike then any of my others. heck i ride the rest of them in blizzards and such. dont plan to with this one! and i am the local buell dealer, so ive got all kinds of polishing stuff sitting here next to me everyday at work. but i still might look for some different stuff at the auto store. it will just have to deal with getting a good polish once in awhile. its not going to be an every ride occurrence though. |

That is my favorite S1. Congrats. Wax the polished stuff when it's clean and it will stay cleaner longer. |

No_rice... I have pics of your S1 as my screensaver... I still drool over that bike. I too thought long and hard about making either a run from NJ to MN to pick it up, or spending the extra coin to have it shipped. As is often the case in life, if you wait too long to make a decision, fate steps-in and does it for you. Enjoy the bike, that is one sweet looking ride. |
