Congrats STU!!!! First bike a buellini!! Test rode a 12R the other day, allmost fliped it over in 2nd gear!! That bike loves to trail brake into corners, so much fun and to many tickets to be had on that one. That one will have to wait, time to rehead the redhead! Duane did you like my choice of heads?? I've set my budget for the bike on what i want. Later, Brandon |

Pasted from a post I did on another site..... Just talked to Mike and it is going pretty good.... On the pocketbike website it was posted that they would be required to run restrictors, well as it turns out two kids showed up without them and PBRN said they would have restrictors available and did not. They decided to allow all bikes to run unrestricted and that includes the Blata Elite 13's. Well with accomplished/experienced riders they have been able to lap Cody twice in the Junior B- 12 lap heat race (11 & 12 yr old kids riding them). The other kids on 4.2's are right with Cody - Guess that squashes the notion that those bikes aren't any faster. There is one kid on a 4.2 Polini with 6.2 dual reed and other race mods and is running race fuel.......Another kid (riding a Blata Elite 13 unrestricted) 12 yr old kid who stuffed Cody in a corner (lapping him - not actually just trying to gain a lead position) and launched him off his bike and slammed him to the pavement. Needless to say since anything seems to go and the kids in the Junior B are huge ass kids some are twice Cody's size - Mike has pulled Cody and won't allow him to race tomorrow to keep him from getting hurt. After that heat race the kid and his Dad came and apoligized profusely about how unnecessary that was. When it happened Cody took it in stride and got right back up and finished the heat race. He didn't cry he just wanted to get his bike and go. (must of been adrenaline). Things are very loosy goosy - rules, what rules? The kid who took last in the Junior A heat race is suppose to have his older brother's bike to ride tomorrow to ensure a better finish - what is that? After their heat race, Mike and Cody packed up and went and ate dinner at the Nascar Cafe and Cody got to go out on the go cart track in a cart. He is having a great time and doing more than just racing. They went to Brandon's hotel room (Brandon is 7 and is the National Flat Track Dirt Champion) and hung out with them and played playstation and the Parent's visited. Tomorrow their race gets over early and they will head out to an amusement park or the beach for awhile and then attend the banquet. Cody is having a great time and this is a good experience to get to meet and race with some other kids. It is a big eye opener of how good we have it at OMRRA though! One of the Dad's got his kid disqualified.....His son's bike had mechanical problems (pulled the starter cord out) so the Dad ran out there and fixed it and then the kid was blacked flagged the next time he came around..... what is that? I guess they would have preferred the kid to ride with cord hanging down? PBRN sucks. Oh did I just say that out loud. No I guess I typed it! Continue to think happy thoughts, especially that he does not get hurt. Cody doesn't care what place he gets, he just wants to do his best and have fun..... sounds like a winner already to me! (I'm his Mom of course he is!) Kimberlie Whoever read this thanks for taking the time since it is long... sorry.

Kim: In the past, you said ”Please say a little prayer that the experience will be positive for him and Dad-“ and “Continue to think happy thoughts, especially that he does not get hurt.” Indeed, I’m praying for a positive experience and that Cody suffers no pain. No physical, emotional, or spiritual pain. Go Code Red. Go Mike! |

I am also praying for the Code Red little man. I have thought about him so much this weekend and wish that we could be there to cheer him on. In my eyes he is and always will be #1. This time he is spending with his Dad and others will be times he will always remember. When we are watching him in the years to come we will all be so proud to know the little man that loves to ride! Congratulations to Stu and Alie! Galen good luck moving. When we moved 10 yrs ago I said never agian! Now I think we made the wrong choice. We need a bigger garage. Chris is out right now trying to find a way to get the truck parked inside. Last time I talked to him he was talking of putting a door in so that we can put a bike or two into our daughters old room. God help me! Have a nice day! Loni PS Shotgun, sorry I forgot about the Casino night! I wanted to go too. |

Up date from last post: No holes in the house for new doorways as of yet. Rearranged everything and still can't fit the truck in the garage. Now we are talking a new garage on the side! Anyone know a good contractor? We may need one. Loni |

There may or may not be something wrong with Lyle and/or me but we did get out for a trip up to Windy Ridge view point. About 240 miles round trip of just about perfect roads and weather.

Ray/Lyle- that is awesome. I got to go for a ride on Sunday to Detroit Lake with about 12 other sport bikes, 2 split off early on so there were really only 10 of us for the majority of the ride. It was absolutely beautiful with all the changing leaves on the trees and the sun and the river that we road along. Can hardly wait to ride again! Kimberlie ps- the boys get home tonight from South Carolina. Cody took 4th place out of 5 bikes and Mike said he was so proud of him and the job that he did. He was riding with some very skilled and older riders and he said he held 2nd position up until the last 2 laps of a 12 lap final. Cody was excited and also in good spirits. The overall experience was positive for Cody, unfortunately the politics of the event were not so positive for Mike. Poor Cody took a few hard spills, but is ok. I am proud of both of them, they represented the NW good! |

Kimberly, you MUST have new leathers and cool boots for next spring! I don't know how to pump you up without Mike thinking he has to pound me, but TwoTonTessie you ain't! And I've got the photos to prove it! Congrats to your team! So Ray, you opting out of the AmericanWay of Debt? Snip-snip! Haven't seen anything like that since I wandered out into the desert as a young man... Found this pic while packing, and the twisted humor made me think of you, Ray. Sweet Jane, Lou Reed and all like that. Then. Oh well, tra-la 'till sooner, Galen |

Galen- what the hell have you been smoking? That is just not right. Was that girl scout from the school of heroin and hard knocks or was she going to sale cookies on the streets of Africa? Yikes! You crack me up man! You certainly would not see that on a girl scout cookie ad today. My they sure have come a long way, now they show a pudgy girl setting out to sell cookies, not an anorexic/addict. What is that you say, she is a diabetic? LMAO Since I have lost weight my pants are so loose that I can pull them off without undoing them and now my coat slides up on me. Thanks for the kind words, but I look terrible in that gear. Firemanjim- no your bike does not make your ass look fat, your ass is "phat" (ask your son what that means)! Kimberlie edited by kimberlie on October 28, 2003 |

Kimberlie Congrats on CODE REDs' great finish! Sounds awesome. Elaborate a little, on the politics of the race, would ya! What, or who did Mike have to do? I don't mean in a sexual way. LOL. Now I have to say that your description of the riding gear fitment sound just right. Able to pull your pants off without undoing them! Things that make you go Hummmmm! Mike All in good fun buddy Cheers FunJimmy |

FunJimmy & Galen: You horny bastards (can you type that in this forum?), You guys crack me up! I am a big girl (a little to big in some places), I can handle it and hold my own. Mr. Wood, well he is a big boy and I can handle him too! Things that make me go hmmmm? Speaking about new gear, where should I start to look for leathers? I am short and stalky (I prefer to call myself muscular- yeah right). So the girly girl stuff with itty bitty arms and thin legs doesn't fit real well. Any suggestions? ps... I want something with built in pads/armour. |
