I bought the Chinese/Pazzo "knock offs" to see if I would like the shortys (and I do) so now i'm ready for the real deal just wondering how the black ASV's hold up in the Sun.. No fade.   Puzzled Posted on Saturday, April 16, 2011 - 11:52 am:        If you have faded ASV C5 levers and they are less than 5 years old give ASV a call and inquire. Robert has been great to deal with at ASV. I notice I receive two different finishes on the C5 levers. They come through in a matte black finish or a shinier black finish. I would think the shiny version would be a little more prone to fade if left outside all of the time, more so than the matte finish.
