Wow, I'm digging pretty deep for this stuff:

This is a high-quality 11" x 15" piece I produced in late '96 of the very first PacBOG (Pacific Northwest Buell Owners Group) ride, which culminated at Seattle International Raceway. Top photo left to right: Bryan Martin, Jeremy Ricker, Gentleman Jim Attebery, Ferris Bueller, Scott Moon, John E. Armstrong (Dr. Moon's mechanic), Rob Wilson, Chris Harris, Don Wilson, and Bob "Buell" Fullerton.

We were there to root on our hero, Dr. Scott Moon, and his honkin' Buell Lightning.

The top photo was taken with us (ALL the Buell owners in the Northwest at that time) splayed out oh-so-symmetrically on the starting line of the dragstrip at SIR and my camera sitting a hundred yards down-track being piloted by the daughter of one of the fellas on the ride. "OK Natalie, push the button NOW!" Say, don't you wish you could pull a wheelie on command like Scott Moon?!?

That's photog Natalie on the left, with dad Bob and brother Jesse, posing in the pits at the track. We caused quite a stir at SIR that day.

So much so that Scott Miller from Buell and Reg Kittrelle from Thunder Press and Battle 2win contacted me and wanted to know if PacBOG wanted to co-produce a Blue Groove event in the Pacific Northwest the following year. Like....YEAH!

Does that photo look familiar? The gig grew so fast so quickly (we had 120 registered entrants from five states and two countries, plus Erik, Court, Fran Crane, Trev Deeley, the demo fleet, and BattleTrax), that we almost ran out of room for Hooligans. Almost...

We actually ended up making a two-and-a-half day deal outta this deal and had not one, but two adventure rides with Erik, one of them up to the rim of the crater at Mount St. Helens. The spin-off to that ride - SPLASH - has taken place every July since. (Interested? Here ya go: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/37/ 612332.html?1301592903)

We grew, in part, 'cause some gonzo-journo by the name of Court Canfield helped Fuell the proverbial flames. Can you imagine being called a bonk-job by a guy like Court?!? ; )

This a little bit of history that a lot of folks on BadWeB prolly don't even remember. I offer it up here to see if me 'n D can raise a few extra bucks for Jim (U4euh) and Tonya Rainey. If not, I'll store it all away for another decade or so.

This is a no-reserve auction with 100% of the winning bid forwarded to Jim and Tonya to help them cover medical bills, etc. I'll cover the shipping and handling. I'll let y'all decide what this crapola is worth, but please dig deep, peeps - this is for a very good cause.

Auction ends Tuesday 4/19/2011 at 11 p.m. Eastern Time, i.e., BadWeB time.

Thanks for looking! : )
