I'll be there starting on Wednesday. Paul, if you need any help, I'm available. Were going to do a Buell day ride on Friday for about 160 miles. But other than that, I'm available for help if you need any. |

Paul, Jimmy and I will have the shop and dyno available at no charge to any Buell Teams that might need it. Motorcycle Mike if any of you riders need to store anything they don't want to take on the ride the shop is in a secure area and will have people in and out all day, so feel free to come up and say hi. We are at the top of the hill after a hard left at Gate One. Three big green buildings go to the right side of the center one 29731 is our shop number. Terry -www.jtsperformance.com |

Infineon Up-date Motorcycle Mike and I will be at the Salinas AMA National TT and Short Track this weekend, where we will discuss an evening BBQ to be held at my house following the Saturday Infineon session. Christine and I only live about 12 miles from the track just right across Hwy 37. Mike, Christine and I will draft the details and make a couple of BW post letting any of you who desire know how to get here. This includes any and all Buell race teams, you have to eat sometime after you get the day wrapped up, so plan on stopping past no matter how late that might be. On another note our 25 ft Motor Home is parked on the pad at the house and can sleep a few close friends. It's available on a first come first serve basis, so let us know. terry@jtsperformance.com |

And don't forget, we have a day ride planned for that Friday. We'll meet at the front gate at 9:00 am and take a nice 160 mile ride in Marin County, Lot's of nice twisty roads, lunch in Bodega Bay. It should be a fun day. Hope everyone can join us. |

Mike said the ride went great, 165 miles of Marin and Sonoma's best. Fireman Jim and I want to remind you, if you reading this today from the track remember Christine and I are hosting a BBQ this evening after the races. Just about 15 miles due East from the track right off Hwy 37. So GPS 301 Catalina Vallejo CA and hope to see you there. Lots of local and traveling Buell (AKA) Bad Web folks so stop past if you can. Great job Geoff! After the technical problems at Daytona and without the 1190 at two high-speed tracks, it's amazing to see Geoff just behind Roger Hayden in points. Geoff and the team's hard work and perseverence should have them in good position when the 1190 is ready. |

Excellent! And they'll race again today, correct? Doesnt AMA Pro usually do two days/events? Maybe they can get a 7th place or 6th, fingers crossed! |

question- after (hopefully soon) changing to the 1190, will the E BR team retain all points? |

It's worth noting that board sponser JT&S is fielding an 1125 in sportbike as well. The results weren't spectacular for them, but I suspect they are largely underfunded, privateer effort. Two thumbs up from me! |

Bott, Yes, all points will be maintained. There is no rule requiring riders to use the same machine all season. |

Bostrom had a DNF first race with his chain losing complete adjustment. Hayden got T-Boned by another rider. Two critical riders that didn't finish that they could not control. Felt bad for the both of them. |

I just got home, didnt know this was talked about on here. Good racing this weekend! I was wondering why he seemed to be taking it easy and getting on it late out of corners. I figured it had to be something tire related by the riding. Cant wait to see you guys back this way next time! (Message edited by deanh8 on May 16, 2011) |

Actually Geoff spun the rear tire on the rim on the start, which threw the tire out of balance. The bike has a tendency to do that with all the torque, it has happened twice before and we really need to make sure Dunlop mounts the tires dry. He said it was like riding a pogo stick, really affected his drive out of the corners, and just wore him out. |

Either way, it was great to see Erik Buell Racing on the West Coast. I over heard that there will be a Cycle World Road test on the new 1190RS in next months issue. And they said they loved the new bike. |

Thanks for the pics I really liked the Erik Buell Racing truck pic. With the bike unloaded and a good distance behind the truck, its about the size of the Attack rig. Really goes to show the David V Goliath battle Erik Buell Racing is in. And like David - they will defeat their competition. Not much longer now.... |

That's my bike. I was waiting for the "Lap of the Track (usually 3). It was rescheduled twice before being canceled and refunded. |

I haven't spent much time yet analyzing the SuperBike races, but here's an observation - Geoff's 8th in 1st race was actually further behind the winner [67 sec] than his 12th [63 sec back] was in the 2nd race! further, GM's best lap times in the 2 races were near-identical |
