Is that... an AMA sticker? Doesn't that mean "American Motorcycle Association"? You know what though, many Japanese designed motorcycles are manufactured in the USA. Not just assembled, MANUFACTURED. With American labor too! or at least Mexican anyway. |

Onebadx1, I agree completely. Actually, anywhere in the USA would be nice. I'm just saying, there ARE japanese motorcycles MADE in America. Does that make them American? No, I think not. No vehicle is 100% made in the USA though, so how patriotic can you really be? I like to look at it this way. If an American designed it and owns the company, then it's American enough for me. Who cares if the engine is made in, say... Austria... *cough*1190rr*cough* |

Agreed. The whole point i was trying to make was that Eslick was on the 1125r when the won in Daytona, then Buell got shut down shortly afterwords. I did not like seeing his name on this Suzuki.} |

The old days of who manufactured what is now doubtful Sadly.. I am Australian and proud of it but we manfacture no motorcycles at all;We Import everything. I have owned 1x1918 Indian power plus/ 1x1923 Indian scout/1x1928 Indian scout/2x1941 Indian scout/3x1942 wla Hd /1x1979 Fxe HD, Now 1x BUELL X1 2000 which is certainly a pedigree motorcycle. All V/Twins from America. "Not Australian" does not mean no good! Hope you Get my drift. Freedom of choice.. Suziki has a good name. Like Indian,Buell Is Dead. Like it or lump it. Erik now needs to be consistant or he will fail. Interchangeable parts. |

Sorry for getting your post wrong, thanks for correcting me. Ok, now carry on with a thread from a pic taken back in the winter about news from two years ago |
