the ART was great !!!!!!1!! going so slooow on the track was annoying at first, but it paid off 3 fold when we were cut loose and my mind was filled with everything else going on around me, cuz i allready had been shown the 'lines' i didn't know about the TPM race, but i would have been a friggin' obstacle. on the last track session the coach was looking back at me on every turn exit 'waiting' for me to catch up. ... that jerk. LOLz |

haha dude, sounds like you got bit by the track bug! so glad to hear you had a good time. Dont feel bad about the coaches waiting for you bro they've been doing it for years. I do know EXACTLY what you mean though. When I finally got Billy to work with me on race lines and all I was riding at my max, visor all fogged up, heart racing and the dude is riding with one hand looking back at me shaking his head. Man, I want that kind of control! Take it all with a grain of salt Nilla. theres alot to think about out there. Cant wait to get back out on track! |

Well I finished 10th out of 17...wish i woulda done better but I had a little issue. My peg came thru the bottom of my boot and was f'n the ball of my foot all up so I needed boots. All the rentals were taken in my size so I had to buy a pair on the spot....with my tire money. Really bummed me out I was so looking forward to new tires. Also, these boots are bigger and stiffer so I would sometimes miss a shift. When I shift , if I dont make sure I push my foot down away from the shifter the boot stays against the shifter so when i go for the next gear, the shifter doesnt shift. I need GP shift. The bummer of that is I got stuck in 2nd on the launch of the race and screwed everyone up behind me going into turn 1. Then, on the last lap I missed a shift and someone got around me...I was so pissed! I would have caught him but there were only a few turns left and I was half past him going thru the checkered. Thanks to Dean Adams for the support, the pipe with the Erik Buell Racing tune is absolutely awesome. My gopro keeps filming for 45 seconds or so and shutting off so I have no vids yet. Next time hopefully. |

be careful about going GP mid-season. i switched 2 years ago over the winter. but i mis-shifted the other week, cuz i rode a buddy's bike (standard pattern) in feb. it got kinda harry, and coulda been bad. ya gotta make deliberate shifts until it is second nature and then never go back sucks to hear that your new boots threw you off so much. the quality ones are always stiffer than a 'rum and rum and coke' out of the box PM sent about GP shifter |
