Looks good. Did you spin the wheel or something while polishing to keep a straight line? We need details man! |

Need details! Tools? Cleaners? Time? I have found Bleche White Tire cleaner to work great on very stubborn rims. Cheap at any auto parts store, works great.

I used nitromors to strip the rim. Washed and dried it. Then used electrical tape to create the line. Painted on the nitromors and left it to work, then just scrape off using a plastic spatula. Then using wet n dry sand paper worked my way down the grades (180-600). Then used my polishing mops and compounds in a drill, i placed the wheel on a pole (you can see it in the pictures) and used my hand as a brake and let the drill do the work. took about 6 hours total time. |

Are you planning on lacquering over the polished metal? It'll dull it a little but makes it 10 times easier to keep clean. I think polished rims look great and admire the people that do the work and keep them looking good... Me, I'm too (a) lazy and (b) busy riding the bike in all weathers but kudos to you |

Bike never sees rain, my swing arm is polished too, I love cleaning the bike so for me it's a labour of love, but you gotta keep on top of it. |
