I am looking for stock or reasonable replacement shift linkage for recently acquired S2-T. Are these parts generally available? Long time fan-newbie owner. All help appreciated |

The "boomerang" part came in a couple of different designs for the S2. The one from an S1 won't fit, I don't think. Your S2T has the pegs lower than the S2, so the connecting bar will be a bit longer, I think. The problem is clearance of the upper part of the boomerang and the bulge of the clutch housing section of the primary cover. The upright from the shifter shaft is basically a Sportster shifter with the threads bored out (and a bushing put in?) As a part that is easily damaged in a crash, there won't be many around. What's wrong with the one on the bike? |

This bike doesn't have original linkage. It simply has a longer shift lever that operates backward. That is, 1st gear is up, all others down. Kind of dangerous if you ride more than one bike. I saw a nice setup on an S3-t. Will that linkage work on the S2? |
