Okay! Who else is running this air cleaner setup? Long story short... Air cleaner cover flew off my bike at 140km on the highway... The Aluminum cover is Good. The Filter..well Its a bit flat... Any one know the K&N replacement Number for this filter? I have tried to measure mine but,as i said earlier. Its flat... |

Buellistic was sort of backhandedly suggesting use the stock snorkel to 'home-make' a ForceWinder copy. Maybe not everybody knows what setup you're talking about. That K&N site has very competitive prices, huh? The Force-type filter is way cheaper there, too. I didn't know about Prospect Hill, this is sort of what they look like, from the XLForum:

That setup has a huge filter. Mine only had only a 2" wide filter..that one looks a bit larger. I love this setup even though it gives my right knee a seasonal bruise! eBay has better prices and free shipping! |

Serialk: The H-D "HAM CAN" type air cleaner is a good HP filter ... "BUT" tuning for the RPM range where "i" ride is what my air cleaner set-up works best ... Only money spent was for the K&N Filter ... Picture of my air cleaner set-up, just PM me .. |

This is what LaFayette is referring to and it flows major air and is rain resistant. $28.00 local auto parts store.
Pic of it covered with OEM frame slider
