I've asked in a few threads, no response.

How are you guys monitoring voltage?

Is this a model thing (CR)? Year?

Does it automatically display when you have a low voltage condition?

If you don't do anything special, the IC will display a red battery icon when the system voltage gets around 12.0 VDC and lower, then the engine will die when it gets around 10.0 or lower. At least that's what my '09 did.

Never monitored mine until the battery light came on this weekend. Now waiting 2 more weeks for the appointment to get the non charging issue looked at since I cannot get the battery above 12V except with the tender.

If you have an early 08, and it's under warranty, and it's killing the battery if it sits for more than a few days, you can get the cluster replaced under warranty. There's a tech tip on it - 396 sticks in my head. Then you get battery voltage & gear.
