They've had it for over a month now. I knew I should have brought it to another dealer when I saw nothing but chrome in the service department.

It took three weeks to get parts and a couple of more days to fix my bike.Clutch weep and stator.Plus they fired the service guy I was dealing with in the process.I am pretty sure the guy I am dealing with now is the same guy that told me they would fix the clutch weep at the same time as replacing my stator because they were on the same side.I told him he probably needed to look a little harder at my bike.I will see when I go to pic her up tomorrow.

Nm5150 - "on the same side...", pretty confidence inspiring. LOL.

My clutch started weeping yesterday....
Called and booked an appointment for next Friday so they can have a look-see for themselves.
Figure 3-4 weeks for parts with any luck, then back again for the work.
Guess I'll just have to keep an eye on the fluid levels. *sigh*

I dropped mine off unannounced for the clutch leak last year, I got the call the next morning it was fixed.

The first time they "fixed" my clutch weep they told me it was an o-ring.I just let them fix it and hoped my stator would go out before the warranty was up.It did but when I took it back I made sure they knew there was a kit to fix the clutch problem.Suposedly it is all fixed now.

Oberon Engineering (UK) have my Rev B cover, fitted with the upgrade kit at the moment (this failed too). They make replacement slave cylinders for Ducati and KTM, but they are currently making rearsets for the HD race Series that features the 'pretend' XR bikes. When that's done, they'll be looking to redesign the Helicon clutch cover.

Bb, did you get the 'lip' seals on the piston made as well? What material do you find works best and do you know what the originals seals are made from? I sent Oberon a new set of seals, so they could examine the material.

It's a poly somthing or other Merklfruedenberg seal I gave my guy the measurements and he cut them in the Vring chevron style. I believe Jersey Thunder has some you may want to pm him I am down to 1 extra set gave away 8 sets.

I've just checked through the Freudenberg website and they list Polyacrylate and Polyurethane as their seal materials. Do you have any record of your contact with the company so that I can get in touch with them for specific details? They seem to have a company branch in the UK and Sweden and could possibly have a batch made up for those in need this side of the Pond.

Mine started leaking 2 weeks ago on the Friday, i rode it to the dealership, told them it needed doing and rode it home 2 hours later "fixed".

I even had a Roadking as a loaner to stop me getting bored.

I actually like my dealership, good, fun, honest guys there : )
