So Nuts, If we had Caldonia do her highly erotic temple dance in praise of Eros, nothing would arise? |

That sounds great Jackie! We will likely be saving the "insane" type of riding for later in the trip.. Leaving there headed to Suches GA, then back up to the dragon and surrounding area. A trip I reeeaally need about now. |

Sounds good Tank. Provided the weather cooperates we'll make it happen. I no longer sleep all day so we can head out at a reasonably decent time. Still got my number? If not email me at John3-16@cox.net and I'll get it to you. |

Tank, I do have a Blackberry but I switched numbers with the daughter and can't remember if it was before or after I gave it to you. The first 3 numbers stayed the same, the last 4 digits are 3961. Fury dude is in, but I have yet to get a definite from Vulcan dude or VTX dude. |

Damn your eyes Nuts ! Not to worry, it should be here on Tuesday. I'm still amazed no one in the valley carries T bolt clamps. Where the heck is Charlie? I been waiting for some race reports and some good natured ribbing about his warm weather. |

Well hold on to your taters Charlie cause here comes a bombshell. Last time I went on a ride I rode in.........................................here it comes......................................get ready for it.........................................RAIN! Yes fellow Fast And Loose brethren, I was out riding and got caught in a thunderstorm. I figured screw it since I was already wet and the temps were warm I wouldn't abort the mission. Now I ain't gonna lie, I did give her a nice rub down after we got home. You can't just put a thoroughbred away without a nice rub down. Now you fella's on lesser machines might get away with it but not the mighty Venom 1. Thats right, the new name is Venom 1 so bow down and be in awe . |

I like it, I like it. Venom 1, got a nice sinister ring to it. Much better than the leaping lizard, etc. You gotta get some evil snake eyes for it, maybe a rattler for the rear. Do your helmet up in Rattle Snake skin(paint) know how sensitive you are about your brethren. |

You know its funny Charlie. I truly enjoy spending my time around reptiles much more than humans. They will quite enthusiastically show you that they don't like you or wanna kill you, whereas most humans feel the same way but try to hide the fact with politeness. I appreciate their honesty |

Nuts, dammit, answer the phone . Charlie or Nuts, Got a group ride the weekend of the Bikefest and I wanna see if ya'll can give me some pointers. Planned route - Rt11 to Buchanan, Rt43 to Eagle Rock, Rt615 to New Castle, Rt311 back in to Roanoke. Now the part I'm concerned about is 615. I can't remember if its suitable for a group of mixed cruisers. Gonna be the Fury guy, Vulcan guy, 3 V Rods, and multiple HD airheads. I'm I being too adventureous with this route? |

Honky, I was on 615 for a short spell on Sunday, it was clean. Remember you have to go through Oriskany and it can get a little curvy around there but as long as you keep the speeds sane it should be a non-issue. NUTS Sorry the phone was silent due to my attendance in EMT class. |

Thanks Nuts! The ole memory is shot, so a few more questions if I may. I did a satellite map view and it appears that you may have to make a few turns to stay on 615 especially at Oriskany. Are the signs well marked so I don't end up getting lost with these guys? Also is pavement smooth or is it that gravelly type that everyone will whine about? Lastly, where is that road we used to ride on out in that area where it has the really steep, twisty downhill portion? Its the road with the really bad downhill, decreasing radius turn. I can't remember how to get there or where it goes. Thanks pal. |

Tank, I got my new T bolt clamp and put the can back on with some hight temp RTV so hopefully it'll be exhaust leak free come Sunday. I'm hopeful it holds at least until my new Jug Huggers come. In general, almost every pipe made for the VRSC line leaks unless it is a drag pipe style. The radical mounting system causes the joints to not sit flush with one another. I'm tired of fooling with it both from the stockers and the new V&H system, so off they come and baffled one piece drags going on. Anyways, give me a shout tomorrow night and I'll head up to the hotel and have me a juicy steak whilst we discuss Sunday's outting. Drive safe man. Charlie, Everybody on the V Rod forum says its ok to run with the exhaust leak at the can since they pretty much are like that from the factory. I don't feel real comfortable with that theory and definitely don't want burnt exhaust valves, so whats your thoughts? No popping and runs smooth but a definite leak nonetheless. Let me know something my good man. |

The road is 606 between Fincastle and 615 in New Castle. Always gravelly. I don't like that road. When you get to Oriskany, there are two ways that take you through "town". Not too much gravel if I remember. |
