I just sold my 2009 1125 CR and I almost wish I didn't. The bike was so much fun and effortless to ride. I hope the new owner gets a sore face from smiling to much. Good luck and happy riding. |

Pete came by last night and picked up my 1125CR. $4250. It had 3700 miles on it, and had only been dropped 3 times. Twice in the parking lot at work. I gave him the new side tupperware pieces I had ordered, as well as a new flyscreen, original bars, tailpiece and a spare rear tire. He also has a Uly. Good news is Progressive lowered my annual insurance by $900. |

JDugger: Pete has been in the wings for the bike since I bought it. I paid $5000 for it (plus dealer prep, etc) and with the insurance I'll save this year alone, I almost broke even. Sprintst: Yup. Apparently I now know mine. So, apparently, does the insurance company. Guess I'll be stuck just riding the V-Rod, (and the wife's sporty) for now. |

Why carry full coverage on a $5,000 bike? |

Because if the market has it listed for more, then you're set if something happens to the bike (totaled, stolen,) God forbid of course. But in this case having insurance makes good sense. Only time you should not have full coverage is if you can easily afford to buy the same bike and pay in cash. Or you owe money on it. |

In my experience it is cheaper getting quotes online. Some of the bigger companies offer discounts when ordering online, because it is less work for them. But to be safe you could compare quotes online, pick the best offer and try a local agency to see if they can match it or do better. I recommend this site for online comparing: http://www.quotes-center.com (Message edited by brian964 on April 09, 2011) |

It makes me want to go out and buy a 3rd 1125 for the hell of it. Perhaps a white 09. |

Black with Diamond Blue frame and wheels are beautiful and unique without being loud. Love that color combo! |
