To clarify - I ment the word gay in this usage - "In the Anglosphere, this connotation, among younger speakers, has a derisive meaning equivalent to rubbish or stupid (as in "That's so gay."). In this use, the word does not mean "homosexual", so it can be used, for example, to refer to an inanimate object or abstract concept of which one disapproves." Please folks - I am pc, you are over-reacting. Real snakeskin, I figure boa, that's why they had a hard time with the corners, snake skin only stretches a certain way - lol - I just got it second hand new, person ordered it, then returned it less than a week later - lol - so still new. Yes, Sycho, thats the seat! PC?? I thought you meant it was going too look to much like a Harley Yes, odd on an all black bike. But with the right accents (IE: not black) it could look very cool and make one of your Blasts even more unique. It's a nice looking seat. Now go get some snakeskin pants to go with it and its 1984 all over again |

I'll trim the rubber nubs, drill the two holes, and make the seat latch tight, and voila - it will settle in better than stock then. I'll leave it white for a while and see how it ages, I'll use the same leather care that took the first Corbin through almost ten years, even now all it needs is re-piping, everything else about the seat is still perfect. However, I have 3 bottles of serious dye, mink oil, and water-proofer/sealer standing by if it gets funky at all. I heard snake skins pretty tough, we'll see - lol EZ |

Oh we saw it on E-bay. Erik thought I would like it as it is pretty pimped out. I agreed but I couldn't quite afford another Corbin. It woulda looked awesome with my Snakeskin boots. I guess when I wear mine out I could send it back to be upholstered in Snake or ?? When we saw it, it was listed at $250.00, did you get it cheaper? |

Has anyone tried putting an XBS seat on a Blast? It seems smaller then the stock blast one and would give it a meaner look. |

Anyone have p/n, spare or a suggestion for a replacement seat latch pin. My corbin committed suicide and need to mount my stock seat to ride. Thanks Rich |

I suspect the Corbin is in a ditch on the side of the road.... pt# M0078.K Or you could use a bolt that fits and bolt it on from the underside. |

With a lock washer - good security - no one will steal your seat - did it for years. EZ |

Anyone know how hard it would be to take one of these and make it work? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/motorcycle-universa l-XS650-cafe-roadrace-flattrack-seat-/280720123491 Sounds like you can send the dimensions of the seat pan and he will create your seat to work. Wish I could see something along the lines of the integrated tail lights he is talking about. |
