my 02 sensor has failed. anybody know the part # for a 'wide-band' 02 sensor? or should i just throw in another Bosch 12014? i got a 'latus' exhaust, and wanted to learn/play with ECMspy on my 03 XB9S/R |

What are you looking to do? The XBs have a single wire (narrow band) sensor. You can't just throw on a wideband without a controller for it - they're not "plug and play" like that. Now, if you do get a controller for it, most of them will have a single wire out that simulates a narrow band sensor (and can be tweaked for different AFRs). Unless you're planning to do some data logging and tuning, I'd just get a replacement narrowband. |

From what I recall, a wide band sensor requires additional wiring. It is not plug and play. |

i picked up a bosch 12014 for 19.85 today i'll be watching my sun-pro to see if it continually bounces from lean to rich, and eventually fails rich just as the engine trouble light comes in. kinda neat how that works |
