If possible bring the battery with you, they may have something that will fit. |

Be certain you get an AGM one. Don't want it to leak. |

Check out Battery Geek on Ebay or Amazon or batterygeek.net. I've got batteries for my Blast and other bikes and they seem to be quality and ship fast. You will have to add the acid but I'm a girl and I can do it. They can make sure they get you the right battery for your needs. In fact I'm gonna be contacting them myself for a new battery for my S2. |

Don't get a "wet" battery! It'll leak battery acid all over! If you need a battery quick, hit up your local Harley dealership. It's the same battery used in the Sportsters and probably some other Harleys. You definitely want a gel battery, though - they don't have an "up" and won't leak all over when you install it. |

the brand name probably does make a difference in life span but if any of you that have a bike with the need for a factory sealed unit AND don't use the right kind it will be like Syonyk says...Acid will leak. ChiGirl you are playing with fire using that battery in your SCG. My Scg's battery lays almost on its side. No way would I not use a sealed battery. just my .02 |

Just to be clear, AGM are not gel-cells. |
