Hi, Just a question about the power supply for the LED. It's normal 12v supply for these tail light? Or is it any kind of converter or lower voltage for it? Well it's sounds like a stupid question.. I'm going to install it on a xb..12v supply |

I changed out my 2009 tail light which was a normal bulb light, to a 2010 LED tail light. The only thing I had to change was the wire ends. I had to splice on some spade ends. Otherwise it was a direct swap. |

i put one on my 07 xb12scg. just cut the small plug off the taillight wire and crimped on spade connectors. much brighter, and therefore hopefully safer the xb screws fitted fine as well, so no cost except the light and 3 spades and some heatshrink |

The whole bike is 12v. They probably integrated a resistor into the led tail light so it can handle 12v. |

It wouldn't matter, a simple flasher change - 10 bucks spent - would allow full LEDs as well on any bike Buell has made. Yeah - I went with the clear light set up because I didn't want my Blast to be more up to date than my CR - lol EZ |

Buy it from Al at American Sportbike. His lights come with the proper ends. It took me 15 minutes to switch it out. No need for anthing else. |
