Well guys, It's been a bit since I posted here but I had an idea since I hate the mirrors and took them back off after getting my M1 to do mach 7 between cars once again. I have not seen this done before... These work as marker lights and turn signals The HID's severely wash out the LED's in the pictures from my phone. They look fine in person. My phone is a picture machine w h o r e Get lots of stares when riding around (Message edited by Captain_america on April 01, 2011) |

I'm sure it will piss off the cops here, and the Cylons. |

They didn't ticket KITT for having red lights on the front. 'Course, they couldn't catch him. He had missile launchers and could jump over trains and stuff. |

Beside being illegal in most states, and pretty...well...you know, in all states, isn't there more useful ideas you could be coming up with ? Mike |

Good lord, cut the guy some slack. He put some lights on his bike and shared it with badweb. It's his time to do with as he pleases. Sheesh! |

Got to say, very creative thinking on this one. Keep polishing the execution and you will have a real winner. Perhaps reconsider the color choice as some have indicated. |

Personally, I'd prefer if the red LEDs gave the impression of shifting left and right... like the old Battlestar Galactica Cylons (or KITT). |

I can see where the concern about the head light washing it out is from. At distance in day light how visible are they? From any front view is it clear (not just to you) that it's a turn signal and indicates clearly where you are turning no matter how the front is turned? As for the red forward lights thing... In most places forward flashing red lights are reserved for emergency vehicles only. Its a ticket and a tow. Maybe try the pods (if not visible in day at distance) and amber color? |

I think it's prety darn cool. If he's worried about LEO they do make on off switches, or maybe he's already thought of that. |

@Firstbuell, haha That's at Skip Fordyce in Riverside, CA Hmmm, Didn't think about the legal aspect, just the fact the the bike is black and red, my favorite colors... I pass many police cars daily. Even sat next to one at a light last night and didn't get into trouble. I saw him look directly at them. I will take my chances until they melt off, then I might change to the amber ... but probly not. You can see them from any direction. They clearly indicate turning to anyone in front of me and directly beside me... Better than the stock turn did They don't shift left and right but half blinks for left turn and half blinks for right turn 28' Direct sunlight Zoomed

I like how the work looks to be done cleanly, very nice. ...But, I would say they look as though they would be crap for turnsignals during daylight. |
