Anyone have experience with error code PO 122 (TPS fault)? The symptoms are that all of a sudden, the throttle does NOTHING till you get it about 1/3 open, at which point it suddenly kicks in with uber-power. It's a pain on the freeway, but downright dangerous around town, what with the unintended wheelies and all. Naturally, I was about to have my first trip out of town this weekend.... Any easy fixes, or is it off to the dealer and no fun this weekend for me? |

you can try a TPS reset, key on engine of go wide open on the throttle then closed 3 times. also go into diag mode, and watch the tps reading as you roll onto the throttle |

You left some important stuff out of your instructions. Hold at each position for about a second. Then turn the key off, then back on again. |

Take your airbox base plate off & check your throttle linkages for proper smooth operation while reading the tps % in diag mode. |

Thanks, guys. I forgot to mention that I'd already tried the TPS reset (several times). Resetting it had no effect, but I'll try watching the TPS percentages as I observe the throttle bodies. Wish me luck.... |
