So anyone try anything different? Stock is the CR9EKB which is fine but since its time to change them out I'm considering options like Brisk Silver. Thoughts? |

i've always liked NGK. and they are usually cheaper than most ... but maybe that's why. i'll never buy into the 'E-3' or diamond-fire schemes.http://www.e3sparkplugs.com/diamondfire.htm it's not gonna spark across all 3 points every time. ... but maybe the extra grounding electrodes taking up air space in the combustion chamber will up your compression a 0.01:1 now here's some thing completely different http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_ info&cPath=2&products_id=5 i'm sure some plug aficionado will school us all but IMHO; as long as it goes 'spark' ... |

lol... not sure I can trust a company that also sells stuff like this. http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_ info&products_id=17 'Patented high-tech design allows KaleCoAuto Plug/Wire cleaner to reclaim old spark plugs and wires! Did you know that tune-ups are completely unnecessary? The only reason your car has bad spark is dirt in the plug lines, and build up on the spark plugs! Simply pour this cleaner into your battery, step back, and watch the engine run smoother! Not for use on vehicles equipped with Opti-Spark. Now reformulated for compatibility with diesel engines!'

I like the OEM plugs, but replace them when they say. Mine are shot after 12k miles every time. These plug-over coils are HOT. I've never seen "worn out" plugs before, I've just had to replace the old black ones... 26k so far Z |

If a spark plug will reliably work in a motor with 15-1 compression at 12k with 100 hp of nitrous on top. it is a good plug....NGK But what ever one you choose, the proper heat range, gap and installation are critical. If there is a problem with electrode erosion, iridium plugs are much longer lived than "platinum" plugs. |

There's no magic in spark plugs. Never has been. But you can spend a small fortune for the mythical wonder plugs. And get nothing but a lighter wallet..! The only benefit to "some" plugs is a longer life because of the better electrode materials used. Mike |

i put a set of denso in. no problems, work great. they were expensive, but should last a long time. i would take denso iridium over ngk iridium any day, and ngk iridium over stock. http://www.globaldenso.com/en/products/aftermarket /plug/racing/features.html |

I emailed NGK tech. They do not recommend a irduim for our bikes. Mine looked fine at 10,000 miles but had them out for a valve adjust so i put in a new set |

Hello, For this application we only recommend using the CR9EKB (dual ground). Unfotunately none of our iridium IX series plugs that would work in this application have the correct terminal nut configuration for the Buell’s wire set. MAKE YEAR ENGINE CLASS MODEL REGULAR PLUG STK NO. GAP BUELL 2010-2008 1125 1125CR, R CR9EKB # 2305 .032 Regards, Brandon Peeler Product Coordinator NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A.), INC 46929 Magellan Drive there is the response. |

So they are saying they don't have a cap for the iridium plugs that will fit our wires? That seems lame. Ty for the response though. |

I run the CR9EIX in my CR, I used the terminal nuts off my Brisk plugs from my Ricey race bike as easy as that... |

Kinder, I had 2 CR9EIX laying around so they went in, if I wanted brisk plugs had to order internationally as they are $40AU here.. |

I have Denso Iridium plugs on my 1125R with no problem. Got the race version, but others versions are the exact same size and fit. |

So decided to try some Brisk AOR10LGS plugs. Other bikes that use the same factory plug as us seem to like them so I figure why not. One interesting thing I found was how many different interval changes there are on different bikes with the same plugs. |
