So if you want more performance, but don't want more noise, what are options? ECM of course. Any factory quiet aftermarket pipes? |

Are you willing to do some motor work? I'll bet you could deck the heads, time the cams, and map for that stock pipe with some pretty decent gains... |

I can still hear the motor with my twinmotorcycles torque hammer pipe. Pretty quiet above 5k RPMs when cruising. Their tune, pipe, and stacks will get you quite a kick in the pants. |

Diet and Exercise ROFL Yes, I could get HUGE gains there!! Actually challenged my buddy that got the CR to lose weight with him, recognizing that would be the biggest gain either of us could do} |

My vote goes to diet and excercise. Your gains will go beyond riding but for life. |

Jaimie is correct on this one. I don't know your ability as a rider and I don't mean to offend but the CR or R will be able to outperform you for quite awhile most probably. If you want to change the pipe do it cause the stocker is BUTT UGLY |

Odd to see me posting "Diet and Exercise" as my love of the Dino BBQ is so well known here, eh? |
