another question - steel swingarm axle - whats the diameter of it and whats the length?

I think I read that the length is 13.75? But what about the diameter?
Will any HD axle work?
I have a friend in the bike business and he can get replacement axles really cheap - like 12 bucks. I'd hate to pay someone else 30 shipped if I can get one of these for less than half of that.

more swingarm related questions - does anyone have the part number for the rear axle?

Sizes/thicknesses and quantity etc of the spacers used on the steel swingarm setups?

I appreciate any help, just trying to make things a little easier, and cheaper, on myself.
