I saw this 'cafe blast' photo and liked some of the parts on it. http://www.americansportbike.com/riders/Frank_Leba _Blast.jpg Any idea what fairing this is? I bought a Joe Rocket Manta bag that kinda looked like this rear seat bag but mine did not fit, so I'm wondering what this is ..how about the mirrors? ...plus other identifiable parts you spot. Thanks! |

Ahhhhhh - Frank's tribute to the Cafe, with only one dumb ass move - the Dunlops! - because of them he totaled it a week later - brand new bike with all the right parts, shot to hell thanks to Dunlops - Banke rearsets, Crossroads brace,ss braided front brake line, CRG levers, Vortex clip-ons, small LP Cafe fairing, cafe bar-end mirrors, and a Westach tach, pro-series grips, cortech bag, Jardine exhaust wrapped - great bike, but the Dunlops killed it still born. Yeah - he posted a full picture spread in the Cafe picture section, He's a motorcycle clothing designer, still owns his XB, and a Duc - he had some serious money he was going to drop on that bike engine, trans and suspension wise, but wrecked it in a week, and so got an XB - lol EZ |

I remember the spread well. "my café blaster is a little beyond my skill at the moment, got to be careful to not over do it" he wrote. I think thats what they call 'foreshadowing'.Thats why he dropped off Badweb shortly after. I thought he got what he needed from us and moved on. Didnt know he wrecked it |

Yeah - a week to the day he posted - fate moved quick - of course he was fine - wearing gear he designed for some fancy German company - haven't seen him since I left SF though. He dropped by the sfmc a few times - yeah - it was a hella nice cafe, and he had grand plans for it, then totaled it - thanks to Dunlops! EZ |

Mahalo guys! I had a feeling you might know something about this. That is a pretty impressive bunch of aftermarket gear. Sad about the Dunlops though. I'll have to google some of these parts... |
