Okay I'm new here, but I have been hanging around the forums here and there for years. I'm usually really good w/searching stuff, but I'm having a real hard time getting Ecm spy info lined up right. Anyone running this, or perhaps provide a link for a thread I may have missed? Also, I found sources for the cable, but thinking I wanna build a bluetooth connector, has anyone done this with success? |

Look into Tunerpro, it is free and does more than ECMspy. I would avoid the bluetooth, I've seen it done with varying degrees of sucess, I personally feel you are best off just plugging it in the old fashioned way. |

Correct. Just for your info...ECMSpy by itself is not compatable with the 1125 ECM's. Mike |

I'm having a hard time finding the initial info for getting started. Every search keeps popping up info about specifics after the balls already goin with it. I have TunerPro installed on my comp, cool, but now what? Tried installing buell plug-in but not working |

for blue tooth use baurd rate 9600 5v chip so you will need to power it from either the %v out lead or a 12V to 5V converter. you can also do it wifi then link it to yout phone and the tuner can be anywhere in the world.. we did that already. live. My bud in Italy loved the link live that way. Blue tooth will link that way as well. For tuning the 1125 stock ecm. you will need the Tunerpro RT and the ADX file for the data connection, the xdf file for the ecm layout. Then the reader/writer plug in for a buell. download the Tunerpro Rt get the Cable. Get the Buell plug in and put into the Tunerpro folder in the main Drive on your Pc once unzipped. read ecm data and see which firmware you have. now go get the XDF and ADX that matches. I spent way to many hours on it and other did as well getting it working 100%. remember to make a backup of your ecm data before you ever change anything in the ecm. no back up no way to put it back how it was. The best connection is a sdt cable, bueltooth or an audio jack style cable which allows a 1/8 push gold connector to flush mount and then you get a 100% rid-guide cable... no tiny wires to break or mess up. |
