I was wondering if anyone here can validate the number of 2010 crs built from july to sept 09. I received some info regarding this saying only 29 were ever built 10 red, 9 white/black & 10 black of which of only about 4 made our shores here in Aus, of which I happen to own one in black What has me wondering is why and how my VIN build number is 63 if the above no.s are correct also any info on the R's built for the same period would be appreciated |

Hi Ausxb. I think there's a few more than 4 CRs in Aus. I own a red 2010 and was deciding between a white and the red when I purchased mine new appx 9 months ago. I just ran a search on bikesales.com.au and a couple more popped up. Btw, I am also interested in knowing the number of 2010 CRs produced as well. Cheers, Jayz |

Hi Jayz, mate one is mine on there, the other red one is suspect, pretty sure its an 09, VIN would tell the story. I know of one other 2010 CR where I bought mine as well as yours makes 3, but your are probably right as why I'm trying to find out exact numbers. I'm sure someone here would be have some info |

The VIN is not entirely sequential. Just because your bike says #63, doesn't mean that it was the 63rd bike built. Numbers are skipped, and often leave the factory out of order. As for the total, I want to say more than 29 were built. Possibly 29 made it to Australia. |

I was told by a dealer that there were about 50 in Europe - I know of 6 in the UK, and have seen a couple more on Ebay. |

I don't recall international numbers. However, domestically, only 27 MY10 CR's were made, 9 of each color. Jason (Message edited by V8KILLR on March 17, 2011) |

Where did that information come from? Just wondering cause if its accurate than my '10 Red 1125R is 1 of 11 for that model year! Would be great information to know as I plan on keeping this bike for a very long time. |

Thank you Jason! 834 bikes, I take it thats domestic only? I personally was guessing around 2000 of the 2010 bikes built before the closing. |

Ahh thanks Jason ! But as Froggy asked, is this total built or US domestic only? Anyway of finding out the #'s exported to Aus? |

These are domestic numbers; sorry guys, I don’t have the international numbers. A coworker had put this together before closure and as you can imagine, my connection to information is now somewhat limited, compared to what it once was. |

>>>Does anyone know if there are any new 2010 1125r/cr's still available? Unlikely. There were some leftover stock but they were dispatched at a "significant discount". |

I just picked up an '09 from the local HD rental fleet (at least I know it's been maintained) for $6000. It's a bit different from my '06 Uly, but I think I'll have a bit of fun with it. Anyone here have any advice on bags? |

I would be interested in knowing whether any MY10 1125R made it to Italy. I bought a new MY09 a few months ago from a HD dealer but to date I've never seen nor heard of a MY10... |

Very interesting- I guess that means that a white 2010 XB12XP is the rarest of all Buells. Well, at least as rare as the RW750! Speaking of unsold new Buells, did the story ever come out about the photo of still-crated Buells a Badwebber spotted in some random warehouse out in California well after the closure announcement? |

They may have been built in 2009 but they were 2010 (MY10) models and differed from 2009 (MY09) models ... (Message edited by sportster_mann on March 18, 2011) |

I also have a black 2010 Cr here in Oz. The dealer I purchased it from, Peter Stevens here in Adelaide said they had only been allocated 2 of the last Cr's made, a black & red one. I have never seen a white one here in Oz come to think about it?? |

Babboo it looks like about 20 odd came to Aus. There are some white cr's here I'm guessing about 5 and by the looks about 100 odd 2010 CRs built all together. Whats your VIN no.and build date? |

I spoke to my local dealer again & he confirmed from his records that they only received 2 x 2010 model Cr's & 3 x 2009 model Cr's with the clubman bars. He also said there is some confusion over the vin label on the swing arm which indicates the month & year the bike entered it's respective overseas country & a lot of owners think this is the build date. My Vin no ends in 00280, the head stem build date is Sept 09 & the swing arm date is Dec 09 |

The only number that really matters is 3099. The total number of CR's made and that really doesn't matter. |

Speaking of unsold new Buells, did the story ever come out about the photo of still-crated Buells a Badwebber spotted in some random warehouse out in California well after the closure announcement? HD has a warehouse out in CA loaded with bike for use in movies, ride reports in mags, etc. That may be the "warehouse" mentioned. |
