I'm actually kinda mad at this ECM. All i want is the Race Default map to upload to it. It's running really rich. It's eating two sets of plugs during a season. When nice and hot it'll idle really high occasionally when stopping at a light. I bought it off of a buddy and i asked him what he did and he said it's running a different map for a power programmer 3 (i don't have this hooked up and prob will come off and be for sale soon). I think thats pretty much all the problems i'm having right now. Any help, specific questions, or a PM to get my email so i can get the map would be appreciated. |

I would take it out immediately (power programmer) and reset the TPS And see what it does. Is there any mods done to the bike like exhaust, intake? Don't forget to check AFV i bet it is at 150% or more. Make sure you tell us what the AFV was at when you reset it. This should be interesting. |

Its got an intake\exhaust. Ill look tonight wen I get home to see what the afv is at. The power programmer isn't connected to the bike...infact its ran thru the bike pretty well so I'm not really looking foward to taking it out. Let ya know what I find out. |

Sort of sounds like an intake leak. |

Is the Power Programmer the same thing as Power Commander? If so, as said before, take the thing out before you do anything else. Then load the Race maps, reset TPS, reset AFV and go and ride and have fun. |

kalai i hope it's that easy lmao. We'll see. I just pulled it in the apartment now to read the ECM. it's 38 degrees outside and the bike is cold and the AFV reads 133.7. I'll do the resetting and stuff this weekend when i get new plugs and stuff so i can start it and let it warm up. I'll tear it apart Sat to take out the power commander III (you were right). Anyone want to buy a Power Commander? Here's a pic of it. |

Sorry its taken so long to get back with everyone helping with this issue...well I reset the afv it was at 133.7. Once I reset, it'll fire up with just a little help. It use to take a little throttle for almost a min before it would keep itself running. So its getting better. Thinking I still need the default race map to load into it..if I'm cruising at say 25 thru a residential town in 3rd gear it doesn't hold the throttle it kinda spuders and when I come to a stop at a light it'll run run run die. I haven't a clue what's going on...the tps is fine or unless the tps is just bad. When I get home frm work tonight ill reset everything again when its nice and warm. Still need a little help if you gys don't mind. |

Check your idle. It should be c1100 RPM when warm. The idle adjuster cable should be in the LH pod if you still have it. Also, check your intake seals. Good luck! Chris C |

So i'm assuming if the adjustment screw is maxed out its time to replace the TPS? |

Are you sure it is maxed out? Mine was a little corroded and would not turn. A shot of WD40 loosened it up. |
