this is over in the XB threads.... but how cool would a SM set up like this be with lights and plate for the Blast motor !

They are talking about a kit..... evil dirty things come to mind.

(no mention of a blast kit, that is just me day dreaming)

I would rock the hell out of that in a SM set up with lights, plate and a Blast set up.
secondary topic…. will the blast motor work for that chasis ?!?

Hi Brian, I don’t know if the blast has the same mounting points, but I doubt it, so I don’t think that the XR-1 chassis would work for a blast engine.

Isnt the front cylinder mounting points the same ? Lil help from our thumper brethern... I may just be stepping out of the cityX and going this direction.

Yes - only a slight mod with a drill is needed, however,it is the rear isolator mounting point that would need study - I never could get Erik to take pictures of that for me on his XBBlast - sigh - now James has it and he's as quiet as a church mouse these days - busy at work probably - hopefully some day I can get them to photograph that from several angles so others can duplicate it. That would perfectly answer the question.

The frame was 2500, body work around 500, suspension was basic stuff - for left turns, was a lot cheaper tan that kit - lol
